Job summary

Hanover Consumer Co-op Society is seeking a dedicated customer service professional to join our team. The role focuses on cashiering, accurate pricing, and handling transactions while assisting customers with product locations and questions.

You will work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain store standards, and uphold Co-op policies. Weekend and evening shifts may be required, with a strong emphasis on customer-first service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with the ECRS POS system and related processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Desire to represent the Co-op positively and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently daily.
• Enter correct product codes, prices, and process transactions including giving change.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist customers in locating items.
• Work with Supervisors and teammates to meet department goals and follow training.
