Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in the United States to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and proactively engage customers to determine and meet financial needs. You will act as the customer\'s financial advisor of choice and help drive deposits, acquisitions and retention while supporting branch goals.

This role emphasizes service, sales and operational excellence, relationship building, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related customer experience and sales experience required.
• Strong dedication and motivation to achieving sales, service, and operational results and exceeding expectations.
• Ability to produce individual and team sales and customer experience results.
• Ability to remain focused on customer financial needs and acts with the customers priorities in mind.
• Knowledgeable of the financial services industry and local community to better serve the customer.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong record of accuracy in handling of transactions.
• Comfortable using a variety of technology software products to process transactions.
• Proven time management and organizational skills, ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and adapt effectively as business needs and pace changes.
• Aptitude to read, understand and apply all regulations, policies and procedures related to Personal Banker responsibilities and other branch operations.
• Ability to travel for training, other development opportunities, and between branches, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a best in class branch experience in service, sales and operational excellence.
• Develop new and existing relationships using the customer engagement model.
• Create daily plan to deepen relationships and ensure service standards.
• Partner with Branch Manager to meet service, sales and operational goals.
• Model Renasant service standards in all interactions.
• Resolve customer issues by owning problems and liaising with bank.
• Remain self-motivated to achieve sales and service results weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Identify additional needs from customer interactions and make recommendations.
• Partner with other lines of business to drive profitable relationships.
• Participate in community activities representing Renasant Bank.
• Serve as back-up Teller or Head Teller if needed.
• Ensure proper documentation for all solutions to minimize exceptions.
• Complete all account maintenance activities.
• Stay up-to-date with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
