Job summary

Midland States Bank is seeking a Universal Banker Trainee to deliver excellent customer experiences and develop knowledge of our products and services. You will regularly meet or exceed performance goals through needs-based questioning and referrals to banking partners.

• Sales and customer service background.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Receive cash and checks for deposit, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cashes checks and balances cash drawer to reduce teller differences.
• Identify correct product types through needs-based questioning and refer to business partners.
• Assist with basic deposit account openings and maintenance requests.
• Promote Employee Perks at Work Program & Merchant Services.
