Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Sales & Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to needs, and guide them through a trustworthy experience from check-in to checkout.

The role blends customer service with sales, product knowledge, and problem-solving in a fast-paced automotive environment. Training is provided with opportunities for growth toward store management within Sun Auto's network.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, organized, able to learn automotive products and services.
• Strong customer service, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment and follow service standards.
• Ability to learn and use point-of-sale systems, Digital Vehicle Inspection tools, scheduling tools, and other store technology.
• Ability to explain service recommendations, estimates, timelines, warranties, and declined work clearly.
• Ability to manage competing priorities from customers, technicians, and store leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, listen to their needs, and build trust from the first hello.
• Review vehicle history, Digital Vehicle Inspection results, and technician findings to recommend services.
• Clearly explain maintenance, repair, tire, warranty, and financing options so customers can make confident decisions.
• Build estimates, work orders, and invoices in the point-of-sale system.
• Keep customers updated on service status, timing, and cost throughout the day.
• Partner with technicians and store leadership to manage workflow and keep repairs on track.
• Schedule appointments, verify parts availability, and review completed and declined work.
• Make post-service follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits.
• Help keep the store clean, safe, and customer-ready, and follow all safety procedures and required PPE.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed, and uphold Sun Auto's core values and company policies.
