Job summary

R.E. Michel Company in Cocoa, FL is hiring a Warehouse/Counter Service associate. You will answer calls, service customers, generate invoices, and load items for delivery. You’ll ensure accurate order fulfillment and safe operation of material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and basic HVACR knowledge are preferred. The role includes handling payments, CODs, and paperwork, with opportunities for growth within a leading HVACR distributor.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication with customers and the public.
• Ability to read invoices, catalogs, stock numbers and descriptions.
• Proficient computer usage and order processing.
• Experience with Prophet 21 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service in person or by phone.
• Greet customers and ensure commitments are met or exceeded.
• Pull orders from warehouse and load into delivery trucks or customer vehicles.
• Prepare accurate paperwork including invoices, CODs and packing lists.
• Process returns and warranty requests the same day received.
• Operate lift truck or other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and cleanliness on a daily basis.
• Assist with deliveries as needed and support other duties as assigned.
