Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Teller to greet customers in the lobby and assist with transactions using the mobile app or ATMs. You will deliver personalized advice to help customers reach financial goals and connect them with Bankers for the next steps.

The role emphasizes strong listening, effective questioning, and a customer-centric approach, with responsibilities for accurate cash handling and compliance. Weekend/evening hours may apply, and full-time hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and assist with basic transactions using mobile app or ATMs
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for next steps
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits while following all policies
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and compliance with local/state regulations
