Qualifications

• Follows the dress code the company has put in place.
• Follows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.
• Reports on time to work and follows schedule that is given.
• Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.
• Follows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Writes up vehicle problems accurately on the repair order and documents changes.
• Provide accurate estimates for services or repairs and communicate with customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and satisfy inquiries.
• Monitor progress of repairs and inform customers of changes in estimate or timing.
• Sell recommended repairs and services that meet customer needs.
• Present a service menu of recommended maintenance services.
• Ensure written cost estimates for labor and parts are clear and complete.
• Inform the sales manager of potential new vehicle service opportunities.
• Follow up to confirm service appointments and notify customers when work is completed.
