Job summary

LOFT in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Sales Lead to model exceptional customer experiences and guide associates. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to learn store operations and be ready to step in as acting manager when needed.

You’ll represent the brand, help onboard and develop a highly engaged team, and foster an inclusive store environment. The role emphasizes customer focus, visual standards, and using technology to support omnichannel shopping.

Qualifications

• 6 months of retail sales experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Technology proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Enjoys communicating and coaching.
• Flexible availability – evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand and model personalized customer experience behaviors.
• Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team.
• Support an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and engaged.
• Uphold the highest visual and operational standards while focusing on the customer.
• Use tools to drive a customer-focused team environment and profitable business.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching so each associate can bring their best to customer interactions.
• Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
• Seamlessly step into a manager role when needed.
