Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store role in Harrisburg-Carlisle, PA. You will assist customers, handle checkout with standard cash procedures, and promote the Michaels Rewards program. The position involves stocking, merchandising, and supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

A background in retail or customer service is preferred, with cross-training in Custom Framing. Employees are expected to stand for long periods, move around the store, and perform heavy lifting as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to stand long periods and move around store.
• Experience with checkout and cash handling.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on feedback surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planograms.
• Maintain stock through merchandise recovery and store recovery duties.
• Support In-Stock Optimization and AD set duties.
• Help shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs.
• Interact respectfully and be a positive role model; teamwork.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
