Job summary

Daiso USA in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking a Store Sales Associate who can provide friendly, helpful service to customers and keep the sales floor inviting and organized.

You will greet customers, answer questions, suggest products, process transactions, and support merchandising and stock levels. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential, with occasional Lead Shift responsibilities as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales experience, sales associate experience, or similar customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, training, or shift support is a plus for Lead Shift assignments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner; answer questions about products, promotions, and offers; identify needs and recommend products or solutions.
• Organize merchandise on shelves, restock, and maintain clean, organized displays and sales areas.
• Operate cash register and process payments; complete store administrative tasks as directed by leadership; comply with policies and loss prevention practices.
• When on Lead Shift, assist management by coordinating daily tasks, assigning team duties, and supporting opening/closing responsibilities.
