Job summary

Daiso USA in Sacramento is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with product questions, and maintain appealing merchandise displays.

You will greet customers, identify needs, recommend products, upsell, and handle transactions accurately while keeping the floor clean and stocked. Occasional lead-shift support may be required for opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales experience or similar customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Lead shift assignments may require opening/closing support and task coordination.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions to support the shopping experience.
• Upsell through appropriate product recommendations and stay informed on promotions.
• Promptly resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Organize merchandise on shelves, restock, and maintain clean, organized displays.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash register and support store admin tasks.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and lead-shift tasks when scheduled.
