Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. in-store sales role seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to deliver excellent service and maintain product knowledge. The position requires proactive engagement with customers, integrity, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail setting.

The Sales Associate will handle transactions, assist with merchandising, process markdowns, and support loss prevention. A flexible schedule and a high school diploma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service and greets customers.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a professional appearance.
• Assists with merchandising on the sales floor and explains exchange/refund policies.
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures and reports incidents as required.
