Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate in Store Operations to deliver excellent customer service and possess merchandise knowledge to achieve high customer satisfaction.

This role requires a proactive, vigilant individual who stays engaged with customers and upholds integrity in a dynamic retail setting. The Sales Associate will help build a positive work culture, encourage team involvement, and support change management within the retail organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains and performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing customers in promptly, and inviting them to return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers post-transaction.
• Supports Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
