Carter’s, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Lancaster-Shoppes, PA location. You will be the first face of the brand, welcome families, and guide them to baby essentials and school preparation products.

A strong leader will foster inclusivity, coach the team, and optimize store performance. Responsibilities include guest engagement, coaching the team, recruiting and training, and partnering with the Store Manager to drive merchandising and KPIs.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment for employees and customers.
Coach others to success and model service standards across omnichannel channels.
Assist Store Manager in recruiting, training, and development of store team.
Plan, track, and report tasks and financial results using company tools.
Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
Help reduce loss through service, education, and operational controls.
