Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations and ensure a customer-first approach. You will support the Store Manager with scheduling, training, and compliance while overseeing stock, displays, and cash controls.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and retail supervisory experience; responsibilities include opening/closing, deposits, and loss prevention in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cash handling and refunds with accuracy.
• Experience supervising employees and scheduling shifts.
• Comfort with POS systems and merchandise presentation.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers, operate cashier, and itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise stocking, planograms, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prevent losses.
• Oversee cash control, deposits, and refunds in manager's absence.
