Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee in Shelbyville is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Associate to support a positive shopper experience through clean, organized, well merchandised store surroundings. You will handle front-end transactions and assist with merchandising and store readiness.

Under store management, you will contribute to daily operations, follow safety guidelines, and help customers with questions while upholding Goodwill’s values of teamwork and respect.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail, customer service, or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently positive shopper experience by maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
• Provide world-class shopper service through greeting, respect, engaging, assisting, and thanking every shopper.
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately while ensuring smooth customer flow at the front end.
• Support merchandising standards through recovery, replenishment, and presentation adherence.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across shopper-facing areas including registers, aisles, fitting rooms, restrooms, and checkout zones.
• Assist shoppers with questions, product location, fitting rooms, and checkout needs.
