Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring for a part-time Hy-Chi Department Clerk in Blue Springs. The role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, taking orders, preparing and replenishing products, and ensuring the Hy-Chi area remains clean and organized.

You will assist with price tagging, stocking, and handling POS transactions, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of similar or related experience; training provided.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform basic food-service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and take orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review daily orders and prepare/replenish product as needed.
• Operate the department register, process payments, and provide friendly service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Assist with stocking, pricing, and inventory as needed.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
