Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring a Hy-Chi Department Clerk in Osage Beach, MO. The role involves taking customer orders, preparing and replenishing products, and keeping the department clean and organized. Qualifications

• Up to six months of similar or related experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and take orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review orders for the day and ensure adequate food supply by following a production list.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product; pull items from cooler/freezer for cooking.
• Review the status and appearance of food for freshness and quality.
• Operate the department register, receive payment, and provide change as needed.
• Maintain sanitation, keep the work area clean and safe at all times.
• Answer phones and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
