Job summary

Hy-Vee in Osage Beach, MO is seeking a Hy-Chi Department Clerk to deliver friendly service, take orders at the counter, prepare and replenish product, and maintain a clean, organized workspace across the Hy-Chi department.

You’ll work in a fast-paced food service environment, learn Hy-Vee processes, handle POS transactions, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere while following safety, sanitation, and dress code standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Up to six months of related experience; training provided.
• Willingness to learn Hy-Vee policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and taking orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review orders for the day and ensure adequate food supply and production lists.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product; pull items from cooler/freezer as needed.
• Maintain freshness and quality; ensure cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Run the department register, handle payments, and provide change as needed.
• Follow sanitation procedures and dress code requirements; assist with other tasks.
