Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks a Store Associate to lead a positive customer and brand experience, operate the cash register, and help drive sales at GCNA. You will handle diverse transactions, assist customers, and maintain clean, organized sales floor conditions in a team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in payments, and adherence to GCNA’s core values while supporting daily store operations and promotions.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods and merchandise.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave the store.
• Maintains sales floor standards and safety.
• Handles complex sales transactions including deletes and returns.
