Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a store team member in Peoria, AZ to deliver an excellent customer and brand experience. You will lead POS transactions, collect donations at checkout, and help price merchandise while upholding floor standards and safety.

You will participate in closing procedures, maintain attendance, greet customers, stock shelves, and support announcements and clean operations. Strong English communication and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the type of merchandise, markings, or asking for help from an on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers that enter the store and thanks customers leaving the establishment.
• Maintains sales floor by following floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate area as assigned.
• Utilizes systems, including phones and paging systems to make regularly scheduled announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
