Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support a seamless brand experience at its Phoenix store. You will run registers, assist customers, and help maintain sales floor standards.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, assisting with donations, pricing goods, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. The role emphasizes strong customer service and teamwork within GCNA's values.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent math skills preferred
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods based on merchandise and markings.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintains regular attendance in store operations.
• Greets customers and thanks them on exit.
• Maintains sales floor and visual standards.
• Stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Uses phones and paging systems for store announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Upholds Goodwill core values in daily work.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
