Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations in our store. You will oversee cashiers, handle checkout and returns, and ensure a fast, friendly customer experience at the registers and Self-Checkout lanes.

You will train and coach cashiers, monitor cash accuracy, and uphold store policies to minimize shrink while delivering outstanding service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail cashier experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process checkout and returns accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide product information and identify selling opportunities.
• Coach and train new cashiers; support Head Cashier with staff supervision.
• Escalate customer issues as needed.
