Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead fast, friendly checkout operations in a high-volume store. You will supervise Front End Associates, coach cashiers, and ensure accurate transactions across Cashier, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk and more.

You will help maintain policy compliance, train new staff, expedite price checks and resolve first-line customer issues while promoting exceptional service and operating efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cashier experience.
• Supervisory or coaching exposure is a plus.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee checkout operations across Cashier, Self-Checkout, Returns and Pro Desk.
• Coach and train Front End Associates; participate in onboarding new cashiers.
• Ensure accurate transactions, price checks and adherence to policies to minimize shrink.
