Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations and ensure fast, friendly, accurate service at checkout points. You will assist cashiers, monitor Self-Checkout, and support price checks and markdowns across registers.

The role requires at least 1 year of cashier experience and a willingness to coach and train new cashiers to uphold store standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred qualification is 1+ years of cashier experience.
• Experience assisting in training and coaching front-end associates.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and Returns accurately.
• Monitor and maintain Self-Checkout area.
• Provide product information and identify selling opportunities.
• Assist in price checks, approvals, and markdowns for main registers and Self-Checkout.
• Escalate customer issues as first level support.
• Coach and train other Front End Associates.
