Job summary

SmartBank in Chattanooga is seeking a Bank Teller/Financial Services Representative to greet clients, answer questions, and handle daily transactions. You will process deposits and withdrawals, balance cash, and support branch operations while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to policies.

The role requires high school diploma, banking experience, and strong math/communication skills; associates degree and sales experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year banking experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients, directing them to appropriate personnel.
• Answer questions in person or by phone about SmartBank products and services.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Assist with opening/closing branch procedures and cash handling.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account changes accurately.
• Balance ATM and cash drawer; ensure compliance with procedures.
