Job summary

SmartBank is hiring a Teller/Client Service associate in Knoxville, TN. You will greet clients, handle deposits and withdrawals, and process payments while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

You’ll assist with daily branch operations, balance cash drawers, and promote SmartBank products to deliver WOW experiences to customers. The role requires strong math and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of banking experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Cash handling experience and math skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients, directing them to the right personnel.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately.
• Explain products and services to clients with confidentiality.
• Support opening/closing procedures and branch operations.
• Maintain cash drawer balance and comply with policies.
