Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling, teller experience or customer service
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks
• Understanding of basic math concepts and cash counting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Professional demeanor and superior problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships through personalized interactions and exceptional service.
• Identify customer needs and make referrals through service excellence.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, credit card advances, and other negotiable items.
• Safeguard assets and ensure security during transactions.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer with extensive cash handling.
• Handle service questions, account maintenance, or research requests.
• Maintain knowledge of processes, products, and services offered.
• Verify endorsements, IDs, validity, and counterfeit currency as needed.
• Monitor funds availability and issue hold notices per policy.
• Greet customers professionally and uphold service standards.
• Assist in managing operational loss and seek supervisor overrides when necessary.
• Utilize equipment accurately and stay current on functionality.
• Mentor colleagues on policy and procedures when needed.
• Adhere to professional standards of demeanor and station orderliness.
• Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations including BSA.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
