United Bank of Southwest Alabama & Northwest Florida is seeking a Teller to deliver outstanding customer service with accurate cash handling and efficient transaction processing. You will identify customer needs, refer suitable products, and balance cash drawers while upholding bank policies and security.

The role requires basic math, strong communication, and a High School Diploma, with opportunities for growth and development in a friendly retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling, teller experience or customer service.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks.
• Understanding of basic math concepts and cash counting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and superior problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships through quality, personalized interactions.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate solutions through excellent service.
• Handle customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other negotiable items.
• Safeguard bank assets and ensure transaction accuracy and security.
• Balance cash drawer with extensive cash handling.
• Assist with customer service questions and account maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of processes, products, and services offered.
• Verify endorsements, identification, validity, and counterfeit currency.
• Meet and greet the public professionally and uphold service standards.
• Assist in loss mitigation and balancing duties; seek supervisory overrides when needed.
