Job summary

Zimbrick, Inc. is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to be the key link between customers and our service technicians in Madison, WI. You will understand vehicle service needs, recommend maintenance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from check-in to check-out.

You will welcome customers, document concerns, discuss estimates, and coordinate with technicians to deliver timely repairs while maintaining strong customer relationships and dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; automotive service experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple customers and repair orders.
• Professional, positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts personnel, and other dealership team members.
• Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and pricing with customers.
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a positive, professional service experience
• Listen carefully to customers and accurately document their vehicle concerns
• Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly and explain costs and timelines
• Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely repairs
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed
• Prepare accurate repair orders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
• Follow up with customers regarding recommended or declined services
• Help maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
• Meet dealership standards for customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability
