Job summary

Basepoint is seeking a Lead Technical Onboarding specialist to bridge customers and the product team. You will onboard data, build integrations, prototype features on a customer's real portfolio, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.

In this role you’ll lead portfolio imports, document ingestion, and integration setup with the customer’s existing systems. You’ll prototype features on live data, write practical playbooks, and serve as the technical voice in customer conversations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software eng, solutions eng, or similar customer-facing tech role.
• Strong TypeScript or Python with API and data format experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites a few times a quarter.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding: portfolio imports, document ingestion, and integration setup with the customer's existing systems.
• Build connectors and scripts against customer tools such as Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, Box, and internal databases.
• Prototype features on live customer data and hand off well-scoped work to the core team.
• Be the technical voice in customer conversations and the customer's voice in engineering ones.
• Write the playbooks so the next onboarding is faster than the last.
