Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or cash handling experience preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and identify opportunities while processing transactions.
• 10-Key skills required.
• Good math and cash handling abilities in fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for training and between branches.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs, official checks, etc.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate platform for upsell opportunities
• Execute service standards in every customer/teammate interaction
• Resolve customer issues or escalate to a branch teammate as needed
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures
• Assist with daily operations: balancing, supplies, ATM/vault, branch capture
• Protect bank from risk by following compliance procedures
• Support Head Teller and coach teammates as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
