Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or cash handling experience preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to identify opportunities to help customers during transactions.
• 10-Key skills and accurate cash handling abilities.
• Mathematical aptitude to count cash/coins quickly.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of bank products and solutions.
• Willingness to travel for training and branch coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and official checks.
• Recognize customer needs and refer to appropriate platforms for further discussion.
• Adhere to Renasant Bank service standards in every interaction.
• Own or refer customer issues to resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain service knowledge in line with regulations and procedures.
• Balance cash, order supplies, balance ATM/vault, and perform branch capture.
• Protect the bank by following compliance and risk procedures.
• Stay updated on teller and branch operation policies.
• Assist Head Teller with operational procedures and quarterly assessments.
• May coach and mentor, serving as a role model in operations.
