Job summary

Capital One's Strategic Insights - Customer Experience team seeks a Business Manager to translate complex business questions into analyses, partnering with IT, Sales, Product, Pricing and Risk to align definitions and drive data-driven decisions.

You will lead multi-project delivery, mentor teams, and deliver executive insights, dashboards, and narratives that shape growth and profitability in the US and Canada markets.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in analysis
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• 1+ year of experience in consulting
• 2+ years of experience in people management

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy, shared definitions and coordinated business objectives
• Deliver executive level insights, narratives, and presentation
• Identify gaps and opportunities to generate business insights, dashboards, etc.
• Develop enablement programs to secure acceptance at merchants across the U.S.
