Job summary

Five Below in The Colony, TX is hiring for an hourly Crew/Assistant Manager role. You will train staff, oversee daily store operations, ensure outstanding customer service, manage opening/closing tasks, and drive sales while controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Wow the Customer through personal contact.
• Train the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for rapid placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including trash, cleaning, and stockroom upkeep.
