Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect company assets, including cash, and ensure policies are followed.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Maintain safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Ensure cleanliness of store, restrooms, floors, trash, and overall appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
