Job summary

Michaels in Sugar Land, TX is hiring a Store Associate to help customers locate products, answer questions, and keep the store clean, welcoming and well merchandised. You will assist with stocking, shelving, and basic framing tasks as part of daily store operations.

You’ll process purchases at the register, enroll customers in the Rewards program, support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store services, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store in-stock conditions
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image
