Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to stand for long periods; training is provided and opportunities for growth, including education benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting customers and processing transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic math and product knowledge to help customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time pickup or delivery.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, plumbing, electrical, lumber).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
