Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador in our Melbourne, FL store. You will greet customers, provide exceptional service, and support store operations with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include processing sales orders, handling credit applications, maintaining customer accounts, cash handling, and collaborating with sales and merchandising to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet customers in a warm, professional manner and represent Ashley's brand.
• Sales Order Support: Process sales orders accurately and obtain necessary approvals before finalizing transactions.
• Customer Account Management: Process credit applications, assist with financing, and maintain account information.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow cash handling procedures, process payments, and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate complex issues to Management as appropriate.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits, inventory processes, and verify paperwork.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work with sales, merchandising, and store associates to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Technology & Systems: Use POS, retail software, and MS Office to perform duties.
