Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You’ll assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail customer service experience. You’ll need physical stamina to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
