Job summary

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and physical stamina to lift items and stand for extended periods. Prior retail experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide discount retailer.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
