Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand long periods, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and store areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
