Job summary

Wesco is seeking a customer-focused professional to provide exceptional service by answering inquiries, resolving shipment issues, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery. The role involves processing orders, preparing quotations, and researching non-stocked materials to support on-time fulfillment.

You will monitor open orders, maintain backorder reports, and communicate order status updates to customers and sales teams.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Associates' Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Solid interpersonal skills for a diverse environment.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully and professionally at all times.
• Computer literate, including MS Word, Excel, and e-mail

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries, resolve shipment errors, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process and verify customer orders and prepare quotations.
• Research and source non-stocked materials and monitor open orders for on-time delivery.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and regularly communicate order status updates.
• Provide backup support to sales.
