Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Lexington, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers. You will enter orders, handle requests, and provide timely, professional service while supporting product selection and application.

This role involves proactive selling on inbound calls, coordinating order-related tasks, and maintaining courteous customer interactions Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
