Job summary

Liberty Propane, Inc. in Delaware is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be at the center of our customer communications. You will work with the General Manager, Service Center, and delivery teams to ensure customers get what they need accurately and on time.

The role emphasizes handling calls, resolving issues, supporting retention efforts, and maintaining accurate customer and routing records. Prior experience in customer service and comfortable with billing and scheduling is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of professional customer service experience.
• Comfort handling phone-based conversations about service, billing, and scheduling.
• Ability to track details across multiple systems and documents.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with clear, respectful communication.
• Resolve concerns to support retention and issue closure.
• Support outbound campaigns to retain customers and collect balances.
• Assist daily delivery and service operations by updating records.
• Provide admin support including documentation, reporting, and billing accuracy.
• Assist accounts payable and other office operations as needed.
