Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet, assist, and process transactions for Exchange shoppers on the base. You will handle refunds and exchanges, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for Soldiers, Airmen, and families.

The role emphasizes accuracy, courteous communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced retail setting with access to base facilities and DoD employment status.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Able to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Required: Access to the military installation ( REAL ID, Passport, Military ID, CAC, Etc.).

• Acknowledge waiting customers promptly at the lane.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers.
• Assist with returns/exchanges following proper procedures.
