Job summary

MW Springs - Northen Wire in Merrill, WI is seeking a Customer Service Representative to enter customer orders and manage releases while coordinating with sales and manufacturing. The CSR will establish strong customer relationships and ensure accurate data entry in the order management system.

The role requires at least three years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a collaborative, punctual work style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years' Customer Service experience.
• Experience working with data and order entry.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Visual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Enter customer sales orders and releases in the CS management system.
• Plan and enter production work orders.
• Facilitate communications with outside sales, the customer, and the division.
• Manage customer purchase orders and releases accurately.
• Ensure correct part number revision on orders matches the system.
• Track open order reports and check status with production/purchasing.
• Back up customer service on order entry during vacations.
• Back up Receptionist with answering phones.
• Liaise between production and customer service.
• Enter ASNs on customer websites or communicate shipment info.
• Back up quoting with RFQ entries and quotes.
• Provide receptionist coverage when necessary.
• Perform duties professionally and with respect for others.
• Work independently or in a team.
