The role emphasizes friendly service, organization, and teamwork to enhance the customer experience. You will handle payments, maintain order status, and collaborate with sales and office staff to keep everything moving smoothly from purchase to delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening skills.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Sound judgment with customer or vendor questions.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately into the company system.
• Process customer payments and apply to correct accounts.
• Handle cash and other payments per company policy.
• Prepare daily deposits following procedures.
• Answer calls and respond to questions professionally and promptly.
• Schedule deliveries and update customers on status.
• Maintain open orders and communicate updates.
• Research and resolve customer questions empathetically.
• Complete daily reports and routine office tasks.
• Assist showroom operations and displays as needed.
