Qualifications

• Retail or other customer service experience preferred.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience, including checkout.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new team members and cross-train high potential talent.
• Assist with department scheduling to improve engagement and profitability.
• Ensure freshness and proper rotation of products; maintain food safety standards.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product display where applicable.
• Contribute to Meijer culture by valuing diversity and inclusion.
