Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring for a part-time Customer Service Associate II in Puyallup, WA. You’ll assist with daily store operations, merchandise flow, and front-end duties while keeping a clean, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.

You will handle merchandise receiving, stocking, and ensuring accurate cash handling at the register. The role emphasizes safety, integrity, and high service standards in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and rest areas.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
